Roofr Starter. $0/mo with unlimited users, a basic job board, 10 trial proposals, invoices and work orders, material ordering and $19 measurement reports. Good for roofers who need reports without a subscription. Roofr pricing

Cheapest paid plans for one person
QuoteIQ Essentials ($29.99/mo) and Jobber Core ($29/mo billed annually; $39/mo with a 1-year commitment; $49/mo with no commitment) are the leading entry plans for a one-person service business. QuoteIQ includes AI tools on every plan and recurring billing; Jobber lists online booking and a larger integrations marketplace. Cheapest for a team
Team math flips the ranking. Kickserv publishes $60/mo for 5 users and $119 for 10 (a 30-day trial), which beats every per-seat plan in the table. QuoteIQ is the next cheapest at around 10 users ($299.99/mo with 10 users included). Jobber and Housecall Pro cost more at those sizes but offer wider ecosystems and phone support. The cheap options usually trade price for integrations, polish or support depth, so test with real jobs before committing.
Hidden costs to ask about
- Payment processing. Subscriptions are separate from card fees. Housecall Pro states rates as low as 2.59%; Yardbook charges 1% on its free plan; others set rates through Stripe, Square or their own processors.
- Add-ons. Markate sells many features at $10/mo; Skimmer sells texts and AI phone separately; Service Fusion lists several features as add-ons on Starter.
- Texting. GorillaDesk charges $5/mo plus credit packs for SMS.
- Annual vs monthly. Jobber and Housecall Pro advertise the annual price prominently; the monthly price can be $20 to $40 higher per month.
- Promos. First-month or first-year discounts end. Use list prices to compare.
